Thanks, I Ate It: Homemade Cajun Spice Blend

Here's a little thing about me-- I love to cook. Nothing fancy, mind you. I never bake, and I don't jump on trendy food bandwagons, but I love cooking an easy, flavorful dinner. If I get ambitious, I might start sharing some of my favorite dishes, but today I thought I'd start small. I recently made a new batch of a Cajun seasoning blend that I love using in jambalaya, pasta, or even as a rub on grilled tofu. (Maybe I'll share the recipes soon!) I love spicy food, so if that's not your thing, you might want to tweak the cayenne a bit.

Homemade Cajun Spice Blend
3 tbsp salt
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cayenne
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight jar. Shake or stir to mix before using.

    Your blog is the one I follow more than any others. But honestly, I get frustrated when there isn't a print option. In most cases the print option condenses everything, so there is less paper, ink, and electricity used. Is this a possibility for you?
