DIY Cord & Chain Bracelets

Spring is here, which means it's time to switch up the bracelets for something a little more colorful and textural. I'm excited to stack up these easy leather cord bracelets-- I chose colors that I knew would feel perfectly springy, and am so happy with the result. Candy-colored cord with a touch of hardware? I'm all for it!

Tools and materials:
Curb chain (I used pieces 5 links long)
Jewelry pliers
Super glue

Cut the cord and chain down to size. My cord was about 11 inches, more if you want a looser bracelet, and I used a piece of chain about 5 links long (about 2 inches).

Loop the cord through a link, and tie into a knot. Trim the cord to line of the ends, and to make sure you have a snug fit around the wrist. Adding the clasp later will lengthen it a bit.

Use jewelry pliers to attach a jump ring to the other end of the chain, then to connect the clasp to the cord end.

Put a drop of glue in the cord end.

Slide cord in the end, and let dry overnight.

Make a bunch in a rainbow of spring colors!
