DIY Studded Cuff Bracelet

This is a very simple bracelet, brought on by using up little bits and pieces from my craft supply hoard. (That sure sounds familiar.) I used leftover pyramid studs with prongs that I folded over using pliers. To make things easier if you, I've linked to flat back style studs in the supply list. I love mixed metals, but you could always purchase supplies in matching tones.

Tools and materials:
Super glue and toothpick
Blank cuff base (available here in brass, and I've seen readily available at the craft store)

If you use pronged studs like I did, fold them over with pliers.

Place a blob of glue on a disposable surface, but not too much because the glue dries quickly. Use the toothpick to apply glue to the backside corners of the stud.

Press firmly on the bracelet.

Repeat to add the rest of the studs, making sure they're evenly spaced. Let dry according to the glue directions. To remove any smudges or glue, wipe lightly with a household solvent, like rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.

Stack it up!

  6. I love the mix of metals and how this turned out. I know you have a Tumblr blog, but I really wanted to post two photos of the final cuff on my blog (which I did). And of course I posted a link back to you (and had to mention my favorite Morse Code necklace you DIYed in my post).
