Week recap and review

What. A. Week. I've been ready for the weekend since Wednesday, and wanted to share some of the exciting moments (big and small) with you.

Things began this weekend with working on 3 different DIY projects. I'm very excited to share them all with you, but you'll have to be patient as I'm spacing them out with some other over the next few weeks with a few other DIYs. It's going to be a very crafty month!

The next highlight was receiving the Cezanne bag from Jordana Paige. Designed with the crafter in mind, it has tons of pockets for stashing everything from your days essentials to materials for your latest project. I love it's size and substantial shoulder strap-- which means it's perfect for me for carrying everything from my umbrella to my iPad for my commute without having to worry about the strap giving out. While sometimes I struggle to get the turnlock to close, I love its size and have gotten lots of compliments on it already.

Monday was a chilly morning at the Capitol for the presidential inauguration. Despite the lines and crowds, it was exciting and indescribable to be apart of such an experience. Later that night was getting all fancy for the inaugural ball, which was like going to prom with 20,000 strangers and then the president happens to show up and instead of a your 16-year-old boyfriend's band it's Stevie Wonder and Katy Perry. Pretty cool.
