Before we dive in, I wanted to share a few things with you. First off, you may notice when you hover over photos, a little "pin it" flag now pops up. You can click on that flag to directly pin the specific photo, which will hopefully make things just a bit easier for you. I am so excited and proud that I added that button. It's going on to the list of my major DIYs along side re-caulking the bathtub and changing my car battery.
Secondly, Alyson at the Average Girl's Guide and I are opening up the opportunity for readers to choose the next DIY for TAGG! Details this way. Now, onto today's project.
Monday I shared with you a few ideas for using faux fur pom-poms as embellishment. I added some to gloves to create this pair. Fun and playful, these are a huge hit with the kids on the playground who call them my bunny foo-foo gloves (don't you love the preschool crowd?). Want to make your own? Let's hop to it.
Tools and materials:
Gloves (mine are from H&M)
Faux fur pom-poms (I picked up these at M&J in NYC. They are not online, but these are similar and here is a great tutorial on how to make your own from a small piece of faux-fur.)
Needle and thread
Scissors
Making the gloves is as simple as sewing the pom-pom onto the glove. Just make it secure!
Have fun staying warm in style!
Very cute! Thanks for sharing this DIY! I passed up a scarf that had fur poms on it, and now wished I hadn't! :)
