DIY Quickie: 5 Minute Gold Chain Necklace
It's said necessity is the mother of invention. Maybe I didn't need a gold necklace that met my requirements of bold yet understated, classic gone contemporary, and big meets small (I know, picky picky), but I felt there was a void to be filled in my jewelry collection. A very particular void. So, instead of leaving the house on time, I quickly whipped up this necklace.
It's just 4 jump rings, a clasp, and about 7 inches of large chain, and 2 7-inch pieces of thin chain. Open up the rings, connect all the pieces, et voila!

Last night, without having seen this post, I bought 1/2 foot of bone-colored large plastic chain and 15 inches of gold chain at M&J to make this exact necklace! Love it!
