Easy and Cheap DIY Planner Update

A few weeks into grad school, I am thoroughly embracing the broke college student archetype. I'm also reverting back from my hybrid organizational model of online calendar and notebook full of to-do lists to a plain and simple paper planner. With more to juggle, it seems sensible to bring it all together.

In a winning combination of cheap and practical, I got a free planner on campus. The catch is it's ugly, boring, and full of coupons. The solution: tear out the ads and coupons and jazz up the cover! I used Mod Podge and pretty paper, resulting in something much more personal and "me," but still free.
