DIY Necklace Holder

Just sharing a small necklace holder I made for my sister (hi Em!) when she moved into her new house this fall. It's a simple combination of scrap baseboard molding and pretty knobs she picked up at Hobby Lobby.

First, I measured, marked and drilled holes through the baseboard to fit the knobs. Then, from the back side of the wood, I drilled recessed holes on the original ones about halfway through the wood that were large enough to fit the nut that secured the knob in place. That way, after I clipped down the screws on the knobs with bolt cutters, the necklace holder was able to mount flush against the wall. Unfortunately, no photos of the process. I was too excited to be playing with my drill.

  3. I made my own necklace holder as well, similar to this one but with silver knobs. I wish I had used colorful ones now! The ones you picked are super cute!
