Taking inspiration from Geneva over at A Pair and a Spare, I made an asymmetrical, high-low hem skirt using skirt I picked up at my favorite local thrift store. I opted for a more subtle asymmetry than the inspiration tutorial, which is a little less daring and more wearable for me. The fabric is a full-on Monet (Clueless, anyone?) -- it's abstract and watercolor-like up close, but a rose pattern from afar. I cannot wait to wear this while I'm in Puerto Rico this week. In fact, as you read this, I'm en route now! I'll be sure to share photos of this DIY (and others!) in action.
