Welcome Whimseybox part 2

Now, you ask, what did you make with the fun supplies I received in my Whimseybox?! Well, kind inquirer, I was rather inspired by the care Alicia put into the packaging Whimsey box. 'Tis the season for giving and gifting, and big portion of that fun comes in the wrapping. I chose to use the fabric paints to color the fabric, like a paint-by-numbers, and then use the fabric to wrap a gift. The fabric can be then reused by the recipient a million different ways, including wrapping another gift!

Tools and Materials:
Black and white fabric
Thin paint brush
DecoArt SoSoft fine glitter fabric paint

Consider this the silent movie of DIYs. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Topped off with a glittery pompom from the Lion Brand/ Martha Stewart Crafts eyelash yarn. No Christmas tree here yet (late, I know!) so I'll have to put this present under a potted plant instead.

  1. Oh this looks like fun! Now I'm itching to go out and get some patterned black and white fabric to play with except I have too much fabric stocked up at the moment!

  2. love this idea!

  3. Fun! Nice job! That is one special present... ;)

  5. So cute and no instructions needed- just gorgeous inspiration! My presents were wrapped in standard paper this year, though I was sure to at least gussy them up with a few ribbons and bows.
