Ode to zigs and zags, part 1

My interest in everything with chevron, flame stitch, and zigzag patterns has reached a new high. I really wanted to make a chevron shaped pendant, something inspired by the breastplates in the photos below of Northern Plains American Indians.

I found bone (!!!) spacer beads at the bead store, but the little buggers wouldn't stack in the nice chevron pattern and then I accidentally crunched one under my foot. With new supplies, I pulled the current result together before hopping on the plane to Ohio.
Not as dramatic of a chevron as I would have liked, but it works!
